Shipping policy

At Global Village Artisans, we take great care in packaging your artisan items to ensure they arrive safely and beautifully. We strive to dispatch orders on the same day if received before 12 pm.

Delivery originates from Auckland, with overnight service available for local freight and approximately 2-3 business days for other destinations. During peak seasons, please allow an extra few days for delivery.

New Zealand Shipping

  • Flat Rate: $9
  • Rural: $14

Please leave any special instructions, such as secure parcel placement or gate codes, in the order comments during checkout.

Upon dispatch, you will receive a shipping notification with tracking information, which becomes active within 24 hours. Most orders are sent with non-signature courier delivery. If you prefer signature-required delivery, contact us before placing your order (additional fees may apply).

Important Note: Customers are responsible for tracking parcels and notifying us promptly if there are issues. During peak times, delivery claims are best resolved quickly, so timely notifications are essential. If the courier confirms delivery but the parcel is stolen post-delivery, we cannot replace items or offer a refund.

International Shipping
All international orders will take approximately 4-6 working days, with costs determined by destination and weight.

  • Australia: From $25 for packages under 1kg. Rates increase with weight.
  • Rest of the World: Please contact us at hello@globalvillageartisans.com to see if we can arrange shipping to your country.

International orders require a physical address (no PO Boxes). Additional customs fees, where applicable, are the customer’s responsibility. For more details on customs policies, contact your local office.

Order Confirmation and Urgent Requests
You’ll receive an order confirmation immediately after placing your order. We strive to dispatch orders received by 12 pm on the same day. If you have urgent needs, please include notes in your order comments at checkout.

Pickup Option in Green Bay, Auckland
For local customers, we offer a free pickup option. Select “Collect” during checkout, and we’ll notify you when your order is ready. Please email us at hello@globalvillageartisans.com to arrange a pickup time, as we operate online without a storefront.
